        The "wonderful world" of Insurance lends itself to many problems for the Consumer.  There are the wacky insurance companies that even wackier agents may sign us up with because they have the lowest rates.   There are the times when you need them the most, only to find that your insurance company is not a "good neighbor" or that you are not in "good hands" at all.  On this page I have included some of the sites I have found that may help you if you have questions or problems with Insurance or Insurance Companies.  Please note that every once in a while these sites may not be available because they are out for service or some other reason. This happens frequently with government web-sites. I check these sites frequently but if it is not connecting when you check it - try back later.

DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE --- At this site -  check on anything you ever wanted to know about the insurance industry - at least from the perspective of the State Government.   You can check on the licenses of your broker or insurance agent.   You can get a list of the companies that are authorized to sell insurance in the state.  There are profiles of all the insurance companies in the state.  And - premium comparisons compiled by the state.

bulletINSURANCE NEWS NETWORK --- Find out what your insurance knows about you.  This site has it all.  Also surf off to a sub-site at this location if you are interested in getting reports that insurance companies have access to.  This is how and where insurance companies get all of that information.
